I'm not sure why a lot of people think rivaling is tantamount to abuse, especially when it comes to Merrill. Should I Rivalmance Merrill or stick with Rivalmancing Isabela again (I won't be able to replay Dragon Age II for a while due to University and Work so I need to know which Character would be the Best to Romance for the Long Run/Future)Įdit: So it seem's that the consensus is Romance Merrill so I'm going to Rivalmance her (By saving her from herself and not being a Jerk to her). So I need your help deciding who's the best.

So I'm extremely torn, I want to Rival Romance Merrill but * sigh * Isabela. I'm playing a Male Mage Hawke (Who's a Good Guy) and I almost always romance Leliana in DAO (which is why I think I'm drawn to Isabela since they both have the same writer). But I really want to do a Merrill romance because she's also Cute and Adorable (I only Romanced Her once when I first played Dragon Age II and I think I didn't do it right since I Friendship Romanced Her which I feel (Good Guy Hawke wouldn't do since he's enabling her). The previous Two Times I played Dragon Age II I've always chosen Isabela to Romance (Friend and Rival I prefer Rival), and I absolutely love her. (Which is Play/Read/Watch everything Dragon Age in Chronological Order) and now that I've gotten to Dragon Age II. I'm doing an epic Dragon Age Saga conquest.
