I record the audio with Audacity as it barely uses any CPU power, then I take it into Adobe Audition to remove any peaks and background noise. This pretty much eliminates all of those problems, but the key is that recording volume. My recording volume is on about 25/100 with the gain turned right down and the mic set to cardioid pick up, and I also use a pop shield so I'm able to sit very close to the mic. The way I get around that is that I have a thick neoprene pad underneath the mic which reduces any banging noise or anything to the point where it is almost non existent. It's a great mic but it doesn't do well to avoid picking up shock. It also picks up desk banging and stuff like that which can be pretty annoying.
